Meet Melissa
A lifelong love of theater, storytelling, & creativity.
Melissa grew up in Manhattan in a family of actors, where creativity was part of everyday life.
Her father, John Gabriel, was an Emmy-nominated actor on Ryan's Hope, her mother starred on All My Children, and her sister, Andrea, portrayed Nadia on Lost.
From an early age, Melissa was surrounded by actors, writers, musicians, and directors who inspired her love of storytelling, performance, and imagination.
After performing professionally in New York, including starring on MTV's Oddville, Melissa moved to Bedford to raise her family.
She later joined Landmark Preschool, where she discovered how much she loved combining creativity with early childhood education
From Acting to Teaching
Bringing Stories to Life
What began as a drama enrichment program at Landmark has grown into acting classes for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, as well as the beloved Princess Camp and the new Princess Club.
Melissa's classes encourage children to imagine, create, perform, and most importantly, have fun.
